An alluring look

La Malandrina stole our hearts the exact moment we crossed the gate of its luxuriant garden: lush Mediterranean vegetation hid a little jewel of Aeolian architecture and we at Frangimare fell madly in love with it.

The villa

La Malandrina, with its Aeolian architecture, features four rooms with sea view and private bathroom, and a living area with a fully equipped kitchen.
All the rooms overlook the sea view terrace and have direct access to the Mediterranean garden.
La Malandrina is a cozy and cheerful villa, perfect for those who want to relax in an original and refined atmosphere.

The suites

La Malandrina interiors reflect its name: we have thought of flirty and inviting combinations, to make each room unique and peculiar.
The sophistication of the ceramics of Santo Stefano di Camastra, a real hymn to the Sicilian spirit, acts as a fil rouge, which blends harmoniously with the eccentricity of some of the pieces of furniture.
Four rooms with sea view, four muses: Talia, joyful and alluring, with its quirky fabrics; Clio, "the one to make famous", with the solemn golden wallpaper; Urania, which recalls the geometry and beauty of the sky; Calliope, with its antique headboards.

The living area

The welcoming dining room of La Malandrina plays on the contrast between the black and white checkered floor and the wood of the built-in kitchen, the ceiling beams and table. While a portrait of Picasso is overlooking the living area.
From the dining room you can access the porch and the garden.

Open air

The outside of La Malandrina is a real gem.
From the Aeolian terrace overlooking the sea, perfect for a slow breakfast or an aperitif at sunset, to the sparkling garden full of flowers and citrus plants, everything is designed to enjoy life in the open air.
A swim in the infinity pool, a reading in the shade of the magnolia, a sunbath with your favorite music in your ears, a relaxed dinner with the typical flavors of the Aeolian Islands or even a coffee at one of the tables created by the skilled hands of our blacksmith with the ancient tiles recovered during the renovation works; these are just some of our ideas and we are eager to discover yours.

Accomodations

LA Malandrina offers two booking options: the entire villa for exclusive use (up to 8/10 guests) or independent rooms with sea view (two double bedrooms and two double bedrooms with a day-bed).
When booking a double bedroom, guests will have free access to the common areas, excluding the kitchen.
In case of booking the entire villa, the kitchen will be available to guests; staff can use it for the preparation of breakfasts and aperitifs.
The villa is open to bookings for parties, workshops and events.
