From a simple idea, it gradually unfolds into a tangible vision: a collection of eclectic, elegant villas, blending every modern comfort with an Aeolian spirit, both bold and gentle. Places designed to let you fully experience the island’s scents, colors, and atmosphere.
At the heart of this story are Maurizio and Paolo, friends, partners, and creative minds committed to shaping a bespoke style of hospitality, that welcomes and resonates with every guest.
“I am large, I contain multitudes,” wrote Walt Whitman, and Frangimare wholeheartedly embraces this philosophy.
In 2020, Maurizio, a Sicilian lawyer, and Paolo, a chartered accountant from Trentino, decided to give life to what had long been just a vision: an idea exchanged during lunch breaks in the cloisters of Milan, before returning to their work as partners in a law firm.
In 2022, Serena arrives, leaving her career in science behind and moving to Salina to embrace the project, carrying a suitcase full of enthusiasm, creativity, care, and gentle attention to the guests.
Frangimare became their colorful sanctuary, a place to feel at home, to return to, to recharge amid art, nature, design, and small daily pleasures.
