Twenty-three works, thirteen artists, and an art gallery, Fabbrica Eos: these are the current numbers of our multifaceted collection.
In 2022, Maurizio and Paolo, the founders of Frangimare, came into contact with the Milanese art gallery Fabbrica Eos and its cornerstone figure, Giancarlo Pedrazzini. From that encounter arose the idea of giving Frangimare’s walls an unexpected, unconventional touch; the vision soon took shape, and the first nineteen works by nine contemporary artists arrived at La Segreta.
In 2023, along with the opening of La Malandrina, Maurizio and Paolo discovered Saverio Di Spirito, bringing three new artworks to Salina.
In April 2023, Frangimare hosted the talented Marta Volontè, who added to the existing collection a painting inspired by her journey on the island: this marked the birth of Frangimare as an atelier.
